September 24, 2020 — Floating Woman, 1927, dedication ceremony.

To honor the sculpture’s placement, as well as the Lachaise’s love of dance, Karesia Batan, a member of Queens Community Board 2 and director of The Physical Plant, organized a very moving ceremonial dance performance set to Chopin’s Nocturne Op.9 No.1.
